Ride Report
Three climbs today: Mt. Rose, 6 Mile Canyon, and the Truck Route. Things started out pretty well and then it got windy towards the second half of the ride. That's great on the section of Highway 50 out to 6 Mile Canyon, but not so great on the climb itself. That's a difficult enough climb without the headwind. That's all part of the fun, though. It's great to be doing some of my summertime Tahoe routes again.

Ride Report
This is my typical windy day route, heading straight south and then back home. My timing was actually pretty good today. Usually I'll start early trying to beat the wind, but it will already be windy by the time I make it to Washoe Valley. Today the wind didn't pick up until probably Genoa or later.

My camera wasn't saving the pictures I was taking. For some reason it decided to save just this crappy one.
May was a good month. I failed my Everesting attempt, but I did get in more than 1,200 miles and I got to take a fun road trip out to Utah and Arizona. The weather in Reno is getting better and starting to feel like summer, so hopefully it's just the beginning of a few great months of riding.

Ride Report
This is the ride I was wanting to do before watching Stage 5 last week. The weather was way better today, so better late than never.

Red Lake

It was absolutely beautiful out there- nice and warm without any wind. There's still some snow in the mountains and there were a few little waterfalls like this one.

I'm not in good climbing shape right now, but today was a good way to work on that.
